2 changesOn a LiteSpeed shared host the site's background request was ended by the host about a second into every second model call, with no PHP error, while the browser's copy of the turn went on.
- The model call no longer waits inside PHP. The site starts it on the platform (
POST /v1/messages/async) and the browser drives the turn in short steps (POST /chat/jobs/{id}/run): each step collects an answer that is ready, runs the tools it asked for on the site, and starts the next call. No request lasts longer than the tools it runs, so hosts that end long or abandoned PHP requests (LiteSpeed, Hostinger) cannot cut a turn. The site never calls itself any more. - Steps are locked one at a time; a step whose connection was cut is retried by the browser without running twice.
