Licensed, not sold
T-Builder 0.9.31 puts the plugin under the Tredcoo Terms of Service. It runs only with a key from your account, and stops when that key is revoked. The Terms and the Privacy Policy are public now.
T-Builder is a client of the Tredcoo platform. Without the account it is a plugin that does nothing, and with the account it is the hand that does everything you ask. From 0.9.31 the licence says exactly that.
What changes
The plugin header used to say GPL, which would have let anyone copy and change it. It now says what is true: the plugin is licensed under the Tredcoo Terms of Service. You may install and run it on every site you link to your account with a site key. You may not copy, modify, redistribute it, point it at another backend, or remove the key check. Widgets, themes and plugins the agent writes for your site stay yours.
A LICENSE.txt ships in the plugin, and the connect screen in wp-admin links the Terms before the key is entered.
How the key works
Every site gets its own key from the account. The plugin sends it with every call, the platform verifies it, and the answer comes back only when the key is active. Revoke the key in the account, or let us revoke it when the plugin is used outside the Terms, and the plugin stops on that site at once. Nothing to uninstall, nothing to chase.
The Terms and the Privacy Policy
Both pages are public now at tredcoo.ai/terms and tredcoo.ai/privacy. The privacy page spells out what the agent reads from a connected Google Search Console, that it only reads, that the access is stored sealed and deleted on disconnect, and how to withdraw it at Google.
Inside the plugin
Nothing else changes in this version. Sites update themselves from the account as usual.
